As a consultant at Oakton, I worked on two large, major projects for GE Money. Project #1: A Web application for managing and tracking car loans. I was responsible for generating the system's legal documents, and monitored and mentored remotely an offshore team, which worked with me on that. I was also responsible for bugs management and discussing requirements with the client during the last phase of the project.Project #2: Integrating multiple credit card-related applications into a single Web application.I was responsible for an ESB (IBM DataPower), which was used for integrating third-party applications with the data model of the main Web application. I developed software for a wafer inspection system, to be used at semiconductor production plants. This was a multidisciplinary product, and my work involved a lot of integration with the system's hardware, and working together with hardware engineers and users.I was responsible for the UI modules, extended them and made them interactive. I also integrated frame grabbers into the system.Later, I initiated, pioneered and led usage of object-oriented design and programming using C++. I developed, from requirement analysis to full integration, the first object-oriented application of the system, and designed and implemented the C++ infrastructure for the next generation of the system's software.
