Ronald S. Burt is Distinguished Professor at Bocconi University and the Charles M. Harper Leadership Professor of Sociology and Strategy at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. His work is about the social structure of competitive advantage. He took a leave beginning in 2000 to work as the Vice President of Strategic Learning in Raytheon Company, directing the Raytheon Leadership Institute.
