Ron Busse is a Business Development Specialist at Amatech Inc, with responsibility for capitalizing on new marketing programs, brand management, and corporate sales initiatives. Prior to joining Amatech Inc, he worked in strategic business development and marketing at several companies, and served in positions in numerous volunteer organizations. Notable, is his four years as Sales and Marketing Manager for General Air, where he directed the realigning of the national distributor network.Ron’s greatest strengths are his creativity, drive and leadership. He thrives on challenges, particularly those that expand the company’s reach. His most recent project involved a strategic partnership with Magna International to bring Amatech’s core services to the fast-growing supplier of the auto market. In 1996 Ron was recognized by Bombardier for outstanding achievement in customer service and problem solving design innovations in their transit car program. Other honors include working with Penn State on a Ben Franklin Technology project to aid the replacement glass industry. Ron is also a frequent visual and highly rated speaker on industry related topics.Ron is a past advisory attendee at the Compressed Air and Gas Institute. He has also done volunteer work in Erie Youth Hockey, including Travel Hockey.Ron holds a bachelors degree from Gannon University in Erie Pennsylvania with numerous additional industry specific accreditations. He lives in Erie where his three children where raised and educated. In his free time, Ron likes to race sailboats and is a community charity fund raising advocate.
