I was fortunate enough to have begun my career in the field as a Carpenter and then a Journeyman Carpenter with the Union. I gained many years experience in many aspects of construction. From concrete form work to commercial doors and hardware to acoustical ceiling installation and metal stud framing! I also did some very complicated millwright projects in my day as well!I did get my BS in Construction Management from IUPUI and put it to use as a Superintendent for a "Butler" Design Build contractor. That taught me the importance of scheduling, contract negotiating and making sure the customer is taken care of 100%!After my years of running projects I decided to become a business owner and began a very hard job of employing iron workers, concrete specialists and interior finish workers. I built buildings all over the Midwest and made a lot of very good contacts along the way! When the economy started to hit us hard in 2001 I decided to sell my business and was lucky enough to discover the world of District Sales Managing! I love it! I work with contractors and love helping them see their projects through from start to finish!I'm now in my 16th year as a DM and work for one of the best companies in the USA. Chief Industries is very diverse and has companies in France, the UK and in Brazil. I look forward to the next 15 years working with some of the best contractors in America!
