I have always known my career path would be Engineering. There is just something about the critical-thinking, obscure problems and an overwhelming feeling of accomplishment when you are the one who figured out the answer; the most efficient, cost-effective and safe way to perform a task. I have always looked to improve simple processes since I was a child, whether it was creating a process to fold laundry and put it away before my friends and I could get back to playing, or finding the quickest route to each park on my bicycle. I have always been passionate about streamlining processes.I joined the military (Army) my Sophomore year of college for a few reasons. First and foremost, I wanted to serve my country and sacrifice the same as those who gave me the freedoms that I have currently. I deployed with my company in 2017 to Iraq and learned a lot about myself. I realized that I want to be a leader, to help people become their best selves and I got that opportunity with 20 soldiers under my command. This taught me different skills, especially: patience, gratitude, teamwork, discipline, to lead by example, empathy. All those are great, but the most important skill I learned was how to motivate. This helped my success immensely and allowed me to bring all of my soldiers home safely.I graduated from Marietta College in 2019 with a Bachelors Degree in Petroleum Engineering. Landed my first job that gave me a ton of great experience with Rockdale Marcellus LLC.
