This position is responsible for ensuring that the overall quality of the parts produced meets all internal and customer requirements and expectations, support Operations and Engineering by identifying process improvement opportunities within JARP Industries and its supply chain and work with the suppliers by performing the following functions:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:AS A QUALITY ENGINEER:• Support Operations and Engineering by identifying process improvement opportunities within JARP Industries and its supply chain. o Work with the suppliers in developing corrective action plans (when necessary) and assist in all supplier qualification endeavors.• Participate in the Advanced Product Quality Planning activities to determine appropriate use of existing and new measurement systems during new tool or process design and startup. • Lead in the development of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) along with the building of control plans to support the manufacturing group.• Work with further deployment of Statistical Process Control (SPC), both manual and electronic, with a focus on the communication of control limits so that operators understand their significance.• Perform intermittent problem solving on quality issues.• Write and amend various procedures and work with the control and distribution of the organization’s documents. .• Lead in the traceability of materials and components. Ensure that traceability is maintained throughout the processes including external ones. Lead in and provide assistance with the compilation of manufacturing records books as dictated by customer requirements.• Provide analysis, evaluation, and processing of returned goods.• Maintain certification as an ISO-9001 internal auditor.
