I lead the corporate economic capital reporting area of Enterprise Risk Management. We are responsible for the reporting of economic capital results for the Hannover Re US Life and Health business. We utilize the latest machine-learning tools in R to run stochastic proxy models. I support and participate in risk reviews and assessments, ERM projects including new business reviews, inforce experience reviews, and Solvency II reporting. I also have developed the ALM program for Hannover Re US and various risk management metrics.

I managed the team that provides actuarial projections for Transamerica’s universal life block of business. Our projections are used for financial reporting purposes, as well as risk management, asset adequacy testing, and market consistent valuation.

For most of my time at Old Mutual I was on the inforce management team. My responsibilities included recommending monthly renewal rates for our life and annuity products and policyholder service calculations. I also served on the product implementation team assisting with the launch of Old Mutual Financial Network’s first variable annuity product.
