I am a part of a very small group within AMX by Harman that supports AMX by Harman products at all levels. We are involved with projects sometimes from the very beginning (design) to the very end (on site technical support). I am very proficient in programming AMX systems in the NetLinx language, and have held many positions as I've grown with the company.AMX by Harman is an amazing company to work for and I feel lucky to have been a part of it for so long.

I was in charge of numerous dealer accounts throughout the Northeast / Mid-Atlantic region. My responsibilities included:1) Traveling to dealer, and end user sites in order to give demos and technical information to the different levels of management and engineering at said locations.2) Help with pre-sales design.3) Help with development of GUI design and programming as necessary.4) Help with on site commissioning.5) Help with technical phone support.

I was the technical trainer for the entire Northeast / Mid-Atlantic territory. My responsibilities included:1) Developing curriculum for all classes (programming, installation, design, troubleshooting.2) Instructing classes of 8 to 12 students.3) Administering and grading exams.

Project Manager for all jobs in the Northeast / Mid-Atlantic territory. Responsibilities included:1) Interaction with the dealer / end user to discern how they expected the system to work. 2) Creating Touch Panel GUI design. I was one of the first to develop pages that were very graphical and aesthetically pleasing as well as functional.3) Put the whole job together for the AMX programmers.4) All aspects of project management.

1) Fabricated all aspects of Audio Visual system racks.2) In house testing of finished racks.3) Programming of AMX control systems.4) On site installation of systems.5) On site testing of systems.6) On site user training of systems.7) Technical support and service of installed systems.

Technical phone support for the entire United States, Canada and Mexico. Troubleshot with the end user or service technician over the phone.Gave direction in order to fix the problem, or dispatched parts and field service engineers.Kept detailed records of all calls using VTEL's proprietary tracking software.

At the time the company was known as Bell Atlantic Network Integration (BANI) out of Edison NJ. My responsibilities included project management, installation, testing, training and tech support of integrated audio / visual systems including video teleconferencing. I traveled the entire United States to do company wide installs for businesses like Subaru and AIG.

Fabricated and installed the most advanced Audio / Visual / Video Teleconferencing systems of the time for companies like IBM, Johnson & Johnson, Merck, etc.Traveled nationwide for the installs.Led the wiring harness team for the S.I.T.E. systems contract. Had to be mil-spec certified for soldering and termination.When the S.I.T.E. contract ended, I transfered to the technical phone support group of the service division where I grew very rapidly and was soon head hunted by Bell Atlantic.

One of the last staff positions available in a major recording studio. My duties consisted of anything that was necessary to make the sessions go smoothly. I was one of the first people trained to work with the GML automation system when it was installed in our Neve. I worked with so many of our famous R&B stars out of Philadelphia. I am credited on numerous albums.This was truly a once in a lifetime experience. I feel blessed to have been a part of it. It was also how I got invloved in the AV industry. The company that installed the Neve also worked at Peirce Phelps. I began to work part time with them which quickly became full time.
