At Universal Technical Institute, I built year-over-year growth of up to 35 percent in recruitment since 2017 and drove brand awareness throughout transportation and heavy equipment industry within New York State. I conduct demonstrations and informative presentations in dealerships, trade shows, schools, and homes, and show automotive diagnostic equipment, large diesel engines, and motorcycles within academic and dealer locations. Much of my energy is spent developing relationships with area instructors and students to generate interest in UTI, its programs, and its 35 manufacturer partnerships. This role takes me on frequent out-of-state trips to campuses for presentations, seminars, and onboarding of new field representatives for training and development. I maintain weekly quotas for enrollments and student start dates at 16 campuses nationwide, and organize and conduct public speaking events to reveal industry needs, current skilled trades gap, and career awareness.
