Regional People Operations Director
During my tenure as the Regional People Operations Director at Walmart Inc. for the Northern Florida/Southern Georgia region from 2020 to 2023, I led HR operations for a workforce of 32,000 employees, focusing on talent management, acquisition, and development. I spearheaded the design and implementation of a comprehensive curriculum on HR policies, engagement, and diversity, resulting in enhanced performance management metrics. Additionally, I established operational leads for Employee Relations Investigations, effectively resolving issues and minimizing conflicts.Providing strategic guidance to two Vice Presidents and 10 Market Directors, I directed a team of 10 HR professionals to implement regional and company-wide HR initiatives. Acting as a multi-unit business partner, I promoted diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across 107 stores. Notable achievements include a 6.82% increase in promotional rates and maintaining diversity representation in management roles.I facilitated CDEI initiatives for corporate employees, organizing seminars to foster cultural appreciation. My efforts led to a significant improvement in Associate Engagement Survey participation and a 4% increase in e-NPS. By implementing effective strategies, I reduced the region's ranking from 1st to 5th out of 8 divisions, demonstrating my ability to mitigate employee relations issues.Lastly, through succession planning sessions, I increased ready-now talent for next-level roles to 30%, ensuring a robust leadership pipeline.
