Finance lead for corporate implementation of the $18 billion Rohm and Haas acquisition. Responsible for integration of 600 finance professionals, and all financial systems and processes

Oversee all transactional accounting for Dow: Payroll, Invoicing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Expense Reporting, Cost Accounting, and Fixed Assets. Responsible for internal management reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, actuals, contract audit, and compliance activities. People responsibility includes approximately 1,000 people with 12 direct reports. Globally implemented improved internal controls and processes to be compliant for Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404. Led global implementation of new accounting standards, both US GAAP and IFRS.

Established Dow's first-ever end-to-end process linking Account Payables to Purchasing at Dow, leading a group of 500 employees across the company. The initiative had CEO visibility and dramatically transformed payments process globally.

Reengineered the accounts payable and expense reporting processes within Latin America including centralizing all transaction processing into one service center in Sao Paulo. Assessed internal control environment of all operations for 11 countries across Latin America.
