After a 46 year run and one remarkable ride, it's time to hang up the shoes. I enjoyed working with everyone at Nike, Converse and COLE HAAN. Thank you Jack and the entire COLE HAAN team for the wonderful retirement parties in the closing weeks up to my retirement. Friends for life.On Behalf of Jack Boys, CEO Team, Our Chief Operating Officer, Ron Edwards, has informed me of his decision to retire from Cole Haan at the end of this calendar year. Ron plans to spend some very well-deserved time with his family, travelling, pursuing his hobbies, and enjoying the people and experiences most important to him. Ron has spent his entire career dedicated to growing brands, building world class teams and an absolute commitment to excellence. There is no one more deserving of this next chapter than Ron. I have had the privilege of working with Ron for more than 20 years and I could not be more grateful for his friendship and partnership. I asked Ron to join us when Nike sold Cole Haan 10 years ago and, during that period of time, he has been responsible for bringing together an incredibly talented team of Global Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service and IT professionals. Ron deserves a tremendous amount of credit for the growth our brand has experienced over the past decade, particularly in our international markets. We have been fortunate to leverage the expertise Ron has acquired during his 19 years with Nike and 7 years with Converse before joining Cole Haan.While Ron is retiring from Cole Haan, it is our responsibility to ensure his legacy of leadership, mentorship and a winning attitude will continue on as our brand evolves into the future. Responsibilities of the Executive Vice President – Chief Supply Chain and Technology Officer includes the end-to-end integration of our Global Manufacturing, Sourcing, Product Development, Demand Planning, Account Management, Distribution, Logistics, Information Technology and Corporate Facilities functions. The Cole Haan Supply Chain operates its primary manufacturing capabilities in China, Vietnam and India and distributes its products in the United States and in over 15 countries throughout the world. Cole Haan has offices in New York, Maine, New Hampshire, Canada, The Netherlands, Japan, Hong Kong, China and India.

Focus on End to End Supply Chain Management

Responsibilities included: Manufacturing 90 million pair of footwear annually; manufacturing operations in China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Brazil and India; Corporate Responsibility; Converse Trading Company in Singapore; distribution centers in California, China and Europe; global information technology; demand planning and inventory management; factory and retailer compliance; global in-bound and out-bound logistics; customs; apparel operations in New York; and global facilities.
