Innovating affordable AT solutions to provide accessible, equitable, and and quality Math education for the visually impaired

- Researched and identified the major pain points of exclusivity in Math Education - Worked with the KBTA staff to ideate and implement STEM solutions for accessibility- Innovated custom solutions to enable students with visual impairments to learn Math comfortably and collaboratively with their sighted peers.- Performed product validation at Thika High School For the Visually Impaired.- Provided guidance using assistive technologies like JAWS and NVDA screen readers

Leading a team of 6 in developing CodeKenya’s web app with Next.js and Python

-collaborate with my colleagues in building front-end UI pages for YES start-up partners and recruiting managers. - Polish and implement any re-designs of YES website or the recruiting infrastructure used by YES recruiters to review internship program applications- Plan, develop, and maintain `design systems` for our current frontend solutions to ensure our code is scalable and maintainable- Integrate testing frameworks like Jest to perform unit testing on Redux implementations and React components

Mentoring 17 KCSE graduates in their application for their dream universities in The USA, Europe, and Canada.

Represented Kenya internationally in the following FIRST Global Challenges:1. The Solutions Challenge: peer-to-peer collaboration with FIRST Team Lithuania to brainstorm and provide solutions to water and atmospheric pollution in our countries. 2. The FIRST Cubesat Prototype Challenge: brainstormed on how to use the Cubesat to identify and solve immediate environmental and societal problems, designed and connected Cubesat sensors and micro-controller components using Arduino motherboard.3. The FIRST Robotics Challenge : led a team of 12 in programming and configuring robots to execute predefined tasks using Vex Robotics wireless Control Hub; drafted reports on the DriveTrain Delivery robot performance, tasks and lessons learned.

Carried social media campaigns to encourage registration of IMUN online conferences; took prospective participants through online registration; networked internationally with peer IMUN attendees; debated and advocated for equity in education delivery for people with disabilities as a delegate of Belarus, UNESCO committee in IMUN conference 71.0, 2021; received certificates of internship and participation.
