• As director of my own research laboratory, I was responsible for the conceptualization, experimental design, evaluation, data interpretation, and the direction of a variety of research projects.• Created, managed, and successfully completed projects funded by Federal, Private, and State agencies (National Institutes of Health, Arthritis Foundation, Orthopaedic Research Society, Pennsylvania Department of Health).• Proven record of effective scientific communication with 18 peer reviewed publications.• Delivered more than 20 scientific presentations at local, national, and international symposia.• Served as a peer reviewer for Department of Defense Orthopaedic Research Program, and the National Arthritis Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship Program, and 5 scientific journals.• Appointed by the Dean/CEO of the Penn State College of Medicine to serve on search committee for associate dean, and the Dean’s Council for Diversity.• Board of director membership, local chapter of the Arthritis Foundation.
