Dr Ron Granot is an experienced neurologist, with a focus on headache and chronic pain conditions as well as neurophysiology. Ron graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and Medical Science (Medicine and Surgery) in 1999, with First Class Honors and the University Medal. He completed fellowships in neurophysiology and pain. Ron is accredited with the Medical Board of Australia, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and Australian Association of Neurologists. He is a conjoint lecturer at UNSW, and practices as a Neurologist in Sydney's east.With a passion for his patients, Ron is always looking for ways to improve the healthcare system and the services he provides. Along with his extensive practical experience, Ron also has produced a number of publications, including book chapters on “Endozepines” and “Computer Technology in Medical Practice and Its Impact on the Delivery of Health Care” as well as numerous journal articles.Ron is the creator of the Better Consult clinical system (formerly known as DoctorHx). This system was created to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the healthcare system, specifically in relation to the most important aspect - the clinical consultation, with benefits for quality of care as well as improved note taking and administrative tasks, to ultimately improve patient-focussed care.
