About Ron Grosinger

From drawing, to building... everything else is the journey.In 2nd grade I upset my teachers by turning their assignments over to draw cars on the back of the paper. Over 25 years later, I am now the teacher. So now I encourage my students to take their drawing into reality.On my journey I got an Industrial Design degree from Pratt Institute. There I was asked to focus on drawing concepts. After graduation is when I moved into building my concepts. After seeing the show "Monster Garage" in 2002, I rented a welder from Home Depot and never looked back. Now I could make my concepts into reality.I switched careers into "Shop" teacher and started building sustainable vehicles with students. A highlight project of mine was the VW Rabbit we converted to electric drive back in 2009.
