In my 30+ years working with Polyurethane chemistry, I have developed multiple types of products for Polyurea/Polyurethane CASE and Foam applications. These include: castable elastomers; coatings for polyurethane foam roofing, industrial and consumer flooring; flexible and rigid foam.I have formulation experience with many types of polyurethane materials: aromatic and aliphatic diisocyantes; polyether, polyester polyols; short-chain diols, triols, aromatic and aliphatic diamines and aminopolyols. I have used organo-metallic and amine-based catalysts, and several types of silicone, fluoro- and conventional surfactants in these products. Job Experience: After 10 years of product development with United Coatings, I joined the start-up PolyChem Corporation (WA) as the VP of Technology, and developed CASE products for clients in automotive, architectural and industrial markets.In 2010, I was hired by Honeywell's Advanced Materials Division.I worked to facilitate the introduction of Solstice HFO into applications for flexible and rigid polyurethane foam and adhesives. Solstice HFO is a fourth-generation foaming agent that is non-ozone depleting, with a GWP of 1, and is non-flammable. I worked at Evonik- Vestanat Crosslinkers for 2 years, developing applications technologies for aliphatic polyurethane coatings. I presented my work at the Eastern Coatings Show, in Nov. 2021, and to existing and new potential customers throughout the United States and Canada.
