Work with electrical crews by coordinating the replacement of deteriorated power poles. Also responsible for major customer and public communications prior to planned power outages for the purpose of upgrading and improving the electrical distribution system reliability. I am now working predominately underground projects consisting of replacing switches, vaults, and all aspects of the distribution underground system. Demonstrate an understanding of Outage and Switching Procedures, including but not limited to the construction, maintenance and operation of the electrical distribution system set by Customer Outage Communication Optimization process (COCO).• Experience in interfacing with governmental agencies in order to acquire permits for necessary construction permits.• Demonstrated experience in negotiating permit requirements and construction timelines with various construction personnel and clients.
