Function: Under the supervision of the Chief of Police, oversee all technological and information systems operations support within the police department through analyses, recommendations, resolutions, coordination, and facilitation of operational and management issues and projects. Provide technical support and training. Maintain and ensure the smooth operation of the network, telecommunications systems, and database operations. Establish and maintain training to enable personnel to use technological resources in an effective and efficient manner. Establish procedures to maintain the integrity of all police department information systems and protect the department against security lapses.
