Drainage Manager working on an integrated delivery contract for Ringway Jacobs as apart of the Extended Management Team on behalf of Cheshire East Council, responsible for all revenue and capital works including but not limited to:- Cyclical Drainage, Pumping Stations, High Pressure Jetting including Root cutting, pipe lining, CCTV surveys, Drainage Surveys, Drainage investigations and Major Drainage Capital Scheme, including handling members, public and client enquiries.Building relations with key stakeholders across Cheshire East and working closely with the Lead Local Flood Risk Team.Working closely with design team to embed sustainable drainage system into future designs.

Accountable for managing Winter service and Cyclical activities, including Grass Cutting, Weed Treatment, Arboriculture, Road Markings and Pumping Stations.

Accountable for all reactive and revenue works in south Warwickshire on the Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull Highway Maintenance Contract.Designed and mobilised a smart gully cleaning approach, completely changing the way we deliver the service, ensuring we targeted the gullies which need cleaning at the right times, doing away with the clean everything once approach. I categorised all 115,000 assets on the network into three frequencies by using historical gully data information such as silt levels and flooding reports, liaising directly with client and flood risk team and also overlaying EA flood risk zones. Key responsibilities include:• Managing all 7300 series works, ensuring completed on time and to budget.• Weekly and Bi-Weekly meetings with client to discuss and issues of upcoming works and agree or action change request from the client, issue early warning and compensation events as per NEC contract.• Reviewing and actioning any defects raised by the client; working with work stream leads; to resolve defects and disputes.• Managing performance of supply chain on cyclical and surface treatment programmes.• Develop annual cyclical programme• KPI site inspections • Senior Site Safety Inspections• Establishing clear lines of communication and expectations with supply chain and client to ensure right first-time approach is used.

I have been seconded into the mobilisation team reporting directly to the mobilisation manager, Key responsibilities include:• Provided operational support to the delivery of £480m Lincolnshire Highways Contract • This included pre-mobilisation support of operational processes, equipment and health & safety management• Engagement and management of supply chain contractors to enable delivery on the contract• Support the induction of 180 TUPE staff to allow work to commence as quickly as possible including familiarisation with Balfour Beatty processes, including training supervisors and managers on toolbox talks, how to conduct daily briefings, ordering of materials and managing the mobile tablet devices• Led the delivery of the day one occupation of depots and depot improvements
