With my team of 8 production engineers we monitored quality and initiated and executed improvement projects to improve quality.One of those projects was to transfer the repair of parts in house by which we saved 2M€. Responsible for 3rd line customer support. Interface between the customer and Development to improve products based on customer complaints. Coordinate required activities with Development, suppliers and customer support engineers using quality tools like 8D, 5 x Why, FMEA. Part of the job was executing supplier assessments on their (manufacturing) processes.
