Great place to learn and expand the experience. Mechanical designer, Sales, purchasing and project management. Responsible for sales and management and design of my direct projects. Generally these where custom and unrelated to standard Optimil equipment. "New business". I worked in solidworks for my mechanical designing. New projects involved panel handling systems for plants in the USA, and a food handling project. Custom machining, milling and fabrication projects to add to the in house machine and fabrication shop work load. Stainless steel project and the setting up of a stainless facility within the Optimil premise.

My position was mechanical designer for testing equipment, required to run in high tech linear transmissions for commercial and military vehicles. Preparation of the design in solidworks and managing it to the manufactured and operational completion.In addition to the testing equipment, I was responsible for the design of a testing laboratory, with 4- 1700 HP electric dynos, mounted on a steel slotted floor. Including the room layout with computer lab and all electrical control panels, wiring race ways and cabling. All mechanical aspects and overseeing the purchasing and construction.
