Develop and manage the Economic Opportunities functions of the Community Services Division involving a team of economic opportunities staff. Coordinate, plan, and provide technical assistance to SHA economic opportunities efforts; monitor program and staff performance, and develop new program resources in response to program participants needs. Constituency Engagement Consultant / Technical Assistance / System ImprovementsResponsible for building the capacity of constituency members and of professionals and systems so that youth, alumni, foster parents, birth parents, kinship care providers and allies have an opportunity to influence foster care policy and practice. Work in partnership with Strategic Consulting Services and Sr. Directors - Field Offices and their staff to bring constituents diverse perspective, ideas, collective agendas and priorities to the table. Current job responsibilities include managing the Birth Parent Partner Initiative and facilitating the Community & Constituency Engagement Protocol Addendum. Prior to my current responsibilities, I supported and provided technical assistance to Foster Care Alumni of America, Indian Child Welfare and a host of community base organization across Casey jurisdictions.

Responsible for overseeing the Black Achievers Program (BAP) for the YMCA of Greater Seattle and the Meredith Mathews East Madison branch. Major duties included, directing, developing, supervising and managing the YMCA BAP for 350 college bound and work ready youth and young adults. Other key components of the job consisted of working directly with the BAP Steering Committee Chair as well as the Meredith Mathews Co-Executive to ensure the success of the program and maintaining its integrity throughout the association and community. Other significant job responsibilities were as followed: student recruitment (75-150 per year), volunteer recruitment (20-30 per year), corporate solicitation through Annual Partners With Youth Campaign, facilitation of the Annual Golf Tournament and the Annual BAP Awards Banquet, program development, marketing and manage a budget of $300,000.
