Currently Former EVP & Chief Operating Officer for Direct Chassis Link, Inc.(DCLI). Started as Senior Vice President of Operations, promoted to COO and then EVP/COO. Have overall responsibility for field organization, logistics, M&R and Business Development. Previously,President of TransX USA which is an asset based truckload carrier and a logistics business. TransX USA offers domestic U.S. and cross border truckload and LTL services. I was part of the original team that started Roadway Package System (RPS) in 1985. Stayed with the organization and built the line haul network from start up to the second largest in the U.S. and Canada as FedEx Ground, that operated over 700 million miles in 2009. Was involved with the acquisition of Parcel Direct that became FedEx Smartpost. Smartpost was at the time, the largest consolidator in the industry. Also had responsibility for vehicle and employee safety. Won the American Trucking Associations (ATA) presidents award for safety 3 times. This award is given to the company with the best safety program in the industry. I won the ATA's safety director of the year award in 2000. Managed the acquisition of equipment and vehicle maintenance through a network of vendors. The fleet included over 35,000 trailers and convertor dollies. Had Operations sales responsibility for major accounts including Bed, Bath and Beyond, JC Penney, Neiman Marcus, UHAUL, Dell and Thermo Fisher.
