Current responsibilities include preparing art for print, creating art for displays, assisting clients with their marketing needs, booth design, as well as assemblage of displays. Too, I teach courses for Ivy Tech - Art Survey and Art Appreciation.In the past, I designed and developed exhibits in team settings, oversaw exhibits, maintained budgets, designed and built exhibit furniture, interactives and prototypes. Not to mention, supervised an employee and teams,designed and built interactives, prototypes and displays. Also, created low voltage electronic solutions (relays, power packs, microcontrollers, switches) in interactives - used vinyl cutter to cut and install exhibit graphics - designed, illustrated, and developed content panels, labels, flip-books and signage - participated in policing environmental control - designed and maintained exhibit lighting.I've also taught art, art appreciation, art history and 2D design for the past twenty years. Not to mention, being an artist for thirty years. I've been reviewed in the New York Times (albeit Long Island edition, thanks Helen Harrison) and have taught at SUNY/Stony Brook, Suffolk Community College, St John's University, IUPUI, Ball State University, Ivy Tech Community College.Specialties: Graphic design, exhibit design, exhibit management, installation, object handling, exhibition lighting, fabrication.
