Good DayI have been employed with Alkan Air Ltd. since 1999. I held a variety of Managerial positions at Alkan such as Training Captain, Assistant Operations Manager, Chief Pilot and General Manager. Currently I am working out of Nanaimo, British Columbia in the role of Lead Pilot. I have ample experience in; - purchasing and delivering aircraft,- hiring, disciplining and mentoring pilots - opening sub bases - writing Transport Canada mandated documents. I have over a decade of experience working successfully with Transport Canada to achieve Company objectives. In early 2019 I stepped down from Management to fly the line full time as a Captain on the Twin Turbine Beech series of aircraft that routinely takes me into both remote and high density airspace throughout Western Canada and the Lower 48. I have been a Transport Canada Approved Check Pilot for the past 10 years. I am able to conduct PPC rides on Beech 1900D, King Air 200, 300, and 350 and have conducted Flight Checks for several other Commercial Operators in Western Canada.
