I retired from the Federal Government of Canada in August 2015, after a 30 year career spent largely in statistical analysis and in social and economic analysis, at Statistics Canada (Ottawa, Ontario), and at Employment and Social Development Canada (Gatineau, Quebec). During my career with the Federal Government of Canada, I have worked extensively with labour statistics and have conducted economic analyses, including economic impact assessments and cost-benefit analyses.I have also acquired extensive work experience in conducting research studies, in analyzing and summarizing complex statistical information from databases and in preparing concise written reports and summaries. I have extensive work experience in preparing summarized briefing materials (Notes, House Cards) on a variety of policy issues, in order to make recommendations and provide strategic advice to senior management. Finally, I have written and published several articles and written and produced numerous statistical reports and publications for the Federal Government of Canada.
