OwnerSeabridge Property Management Jul 2012 - PresentNewcastle-Under-LymeIn 2012 I started to build up a property portfolio that would return a revenue from rentals that will become my pension when I'm old and grey (OK, so I already qualify). The business model is quite simple - I buy distressed (knackered) houses and bring about a magical transformation (I renovate them) and then I either sell them on or put a tenant in. It's hard work sometimes, dirty most of the time but, hey, I'm enjoying every minute. In 2014 I created Seabridge Property Management as a maintenance and lettings management company, primarily to handle my own portfolio.Earlier this year I started working with a local finance broker and have acquired several more properties and hope to add another 4 or so houses and/or apartments over the next 12 months.Watch this space !!

I also sit on the Finance Committee, the Strategic Planning Group and the Marketing Group. OwnerStrategia Consulting Limited Jul 2003 - Jul 2014Strategia was set up to give strategic business planning and corporate finance consultancy services to new, young and expanding businesses across North Staffordshire , South Cheshire and East Shropshire. In the ten or so years of its existence it provided business planning advice to over 40 companies and raised just short of £2.25m in amounts varying from £40k to £150k. This amount was a mixture of private equity and debt finance and was, in every case, supported by a full business plan prepared by Strategia.In a few cases we were also able to provide market research and help develop marketing strategies with the management team. My thanks to all those managers and owners who placed their faith in me. The feedback I've had suggests I did a good job. Good luck for the future.

Went in as co-investor and had two years of fun (and hard work too) working alongside Brad (the brewer). Learned a lot about brewing top-end real ales and I'm a big supporter of the local micro-brewery industry.
