As Operations manager I am responsible for the Laboratory operations, along with Training, and Workforce Development. I also over see the financial management of the company.

Director of Training and Workforce Development As Director of Training and Workforce Development I am responsible for curriculum development, facilitator training, staff development, employee placement and follow-up, recruitment for; personal for environmental i.e. Lead, Asbestos, and Mold remediation, Fire Watch, and OSHA Safety. Organize training venues, logistics, distribution, and accommodations as required to achieve efficient training delivery. Apply recruiting principles to prescreen, hire, and prepare a diverse workforce for outsourcing selected candidates to meet contract agency demands for the Hampton Roads area. Maintain a level of efficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office software applications. Develop and maintain an effective collaborative network with Navy Station Norfolk and BAE Systems. Currently hold a security access through MANCOR and COMNAVREGMIDLANT for base clearance.

As campaign director, was responsible for raising annual campaign goal; motivating and training campaign staff on generating significant new business through prospects and other strategies. In addition I facilitated training of annual campaign volunteers, including campaign cabinet members, campaign account executives, and employee campaign managers. Reported campaign development strategies and progress to CEO and Vice-President of Organizational Development weekly in reference to accomplishing benchmarks established. Conducted over 60 corporate and individual speaking engagements to solicit donor participation and facilitated bi-weekly campaign cabinet meetings to report fund raising status.2005 campaign results increased donor participation by 25% and funds raised by 30%

Facilitated more than 30 motivational training sessions for church leaders in; As VP of Operations, managed all programs and day-to-day operations of Employment, Training and Technology Center as well as, facilitated personal and professional development classes/seminars for constituency. Additional responsibility included recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and supervising staff. Since the Urban League is a National, renowned organization, served on committees at the local affiliate to address the social issues impacting communities within our nation. Developed training curriculum for 21st Century Workforce Development Program and implemented the continuous improvement process to satisfy future training needs. Met the workforce development needs by entering into a collaborative partnership with other agencies and companies to offer skilled laborers.

I handled the day-to-day operations of the training and workforce development operations of the Urban League.
