Aggressively managed projects through all phases of Software Development Life Cycle.  Prioritized and made recommendations regarding enhancement requests required to match business objectives with system functionality.  Proactively planned and managed resource needs to support strategic business objectives including hiring, training, assessing, and coaching team members.Highlights Led technical development effort for a custom VB.Net system to support merchants during buying process and drive the item creation process; system applied various cost components, including: expected wastage/spoilage, forecasted sales and inventory holding costs to estimate the true cost of an item before a buy was made.  Planned and managed an aggressive Pricing Development effort to provide flexibility in pricing and extend pricing for company, resulting in an additional $1MM to bottom line.  Managed the update of existing merchandising reports generated from core merchandising system as well interfaces to store POS to support new pricing structure. Planned and managed successful restructure of the Purchasing System databases and GUI change, decreasing production issues by 90% while improving system response time. Selected, implemented, and managed PRC Source Control System for Unidata development environment, resulting in a 80% reduction in production release issues; established controls necessary to maintain SOX compliance.
