-Responsible for growing rosemary, lettuce and other leafy greens(kale, chard, mustard).-In charge of three acres of grow space, which included a germination chamber, a vertical nursery(CEA), one level grow space for lettuce(CEA) and 1 acre of rosemary under plastic.-Responsible for all stages of crop production(seeding, propagation and finishing).-Monitoring the grow room environment(lighting, temperature, CO2 and RH) through Prime and Priva and making adjustments if needed.-Preparation and sanitization of the grow space for crop production. -Inspect/scout crops for pathogens and other pests(IPM) and come up with treatment plans if necessary. -Pesticides and fungicide applications.-Interpreting nutrition data and making adjustments if needed.-Responsible for water quality and nutrition checks as well as fertilizer mixing.be-all data and record keeping pertaining to crop growth, inventory, IPM, fertilizer application and sanitation. -Training new employees in growing techniques and activities. -Calibration of metering devices.-Maintaining all devices that control frequency, amount, and type of nutrient applications. -Supervising a team of at least two assistant growers.

In combination with the senior grower: -Responsible for the quality of crops grown in the led grow room(basil, cilantro, parsley, thyme, mint, rosemary, wheatgrass, oregano, sage, dill).-Responsible for all vegetative/asexual propagation (mostly mint and rosemary).-Monitoring and reporting environmental conditions (temperature, RH, etc) both in the LED grow room and propagation house.-Daily review of crop quality and raising any issues which need immediate attention.-Scouting for insects and disease pressure.-Assisting in applying biological control agents.-Minor maintenance repairs and notifying maintenance of any concerns which could result in delays in the crop cycle.-Keeping weekly inventories and filling out reports as required by the grow team.-Other duties as assigned/needed.
