Assess training needs and deliver relevant, challenging, and realistic training. Develop and tailor courses to the client and the client’s host country. Provide proven training that mitigates the risks associated with the high threat working environment of Rangers, Wildlife Trafficking Investigators & Staff/Employees who are on the front lines of protecting and saving wildlife. Conduct training in the clients’ operational environment. Focus on the Mobile Training Team concept. Merge military special operations and professional law enforcement tactics, techniques, and procedures. Promote collaboration and foster relationships to facilitate joint operations and investigations between Government Agencies, NGOs and Private Conservancies. Enhance capacity building through training and mentorship.

Primary Firearms & Tactical Instructor for DEA's Foreign Deployed Advisory Support Team (FAST). In charge of all firearms and tactical training for all DEA FAST Special Agents. Created and developed the Program of Instruction for DEA's SRT (Special Response Team) Certification Course. Lead Instructor for all Firearms and Tactical Instruction for the two-week SRT Certification Course. Provide instruction in team movement, high risk entry, vehicle assaults, advanced tactical weapons proficiency and principles of dynamic operations for all SRT candidates. Responsible for training and certifying SRT candidates for all 21 Divisions within DEA.

DEA Primary Firearms and Tactical Instructor. Developed and implemented the firearms and tactical training program for the DEA Washington Field Division. Responsible for all firearms and tactical training for more than 300 Special Agents and Task Force Officers assigned to the Division, encompassing all of Maryland, Virginia, Washington, DC and West Virginia. Direct and guide 30 other Firearms/Tactical Instructors throughout the Division. Responsible for fiscal planning and budget oversight for Divisional Firearms, as well as program metrics and reporting.Lead training in defensive tactics, arrest planning, tactical entry techniques as well as use of Deadly Force. Developed and provided advanced weapons training to over 125 Specialized Military Units and SWAT Teams both domestic and foreign. Interdiction Group (Acting Group Supervisor 2002-2004)Targeted and interdicted drug traffickers to effectuate seizures of illegal drugs and drug proceeds by focusing on all forms of public transportation to include airports, buses, trains, air/ground parcels and freight/cargo, as well as storage units and hotel/motel interdiction. Managed hundreds of controlled deliveries resulting from those arrests and seizures. Analyzed and identified global and regional trafficking patterns and trends and developed strategies to disrupt those activities. Developed and provided national and international instruction on all venues of interdiction techniques. Served as Acting Group Supervisor for two years, managing the multi-agency interdiction group consisting of 10 individuals during this period in addition to all other responsibilities.

Enforcement GroupInvestigated and enforced the U.S. controlled substances laws and regulations. Disrupted and dismantled major domestic and international drug trafficking organizations and their networks. Conducted Title III investigations and other complex investigations. Conducted surveillance and undercover operations and executed search warrants and arrest warrants. Coordinated and conducted bilateral investigations and arrests with other Federal, State and Local Agencies nationwide. Controlled and directed criminal informants and sources of information.
