Ron Orsini, a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal in Houston, serves as a leader of the firm's Corporate Transformation Services practice. Mr. Orsini specializes in serving in interim Chief Transformation Officer roles to drive operating model changes, cost reduction initiatives, organizational transformations, and growth strategies for Fortune 500 and privately-held companies as well as government agencies.With over 25 years of professional experience in the U.S., Mexico and the Caribbean, Mr. Orsini brings significant experience in a variety of industries, including consumer and industrial products and services, construction and engineering, transportation infrastructure, and agribusiness. Mr. Orsini has led the development of corporate strategies and implementation of performance improvement initiatives for numerous large and mid-cap companies, where he assessed the full market potential, identified strategic and operational opportunities to aggressively grow profits and expand markets; evaluated business acquisition and divestiture options; and modeled different equity structures to maximize shareholder value. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Orsini was Managing Director of retail operations with Reliant Energy and Director of corporate strategy and development with Compaq Computer. Earlier, Mr. Orsini was with Bain & Company, a global strategy consulting firm, where he led consulting engagements for four years. Mr. Orsini earned a bachelor's degree in economics with honors from Princeton and master's degree in business administration, with concentrations in finance and strategic planning, from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
