• Supervise a team of 400 military and civilian government service workers in contracting, accounting, design, construction, overhaul, and repair of nuclear aircraft carriers and submarines. • Administration of over $40 billion in Navy contracts with Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS).• Directly responsible for the Quality of Life (QOL) of 3000 Sailors and Marines assigned to the shipyard during overhaul, repair and conversion periods.• Work directly with Navy Executive leadership and all levels of city officials to provide insight and direction in overcoming QOL obstacles ranging from parking and housing issues to physical security of several square miles of industrial area.• Oversight of the upkeep and maintenance of several high occupancy office and berthing facilities with a total combined capacity of 5000 Sailors, Marines and government service employees.• Worked hand-in-hand with civic leaders and government officials to integrate military members into the community through volunteerism and partnerships.

• Supervised a team of 135 Operations, Weapons, Navigation and Nuclear Reactor Controls personnel on several global missions critical to national security.

• Supervised a team that provides operational, material, training and administrative support to eight operational nuclear powered submarines.• Provided fire-fighting, flooding damage control, emergency response and hazardous products stowage training oversight to eight submarine crews totaling nearly 800 Sailors.
