Managed several planning initiatives for the Aviation Planning Department. Served as lead planner on developing an organized and streamlined approach to the Airport’s Capital Improvement Program. The developed approach identified a way to prioritize projects based on critical need, funding sources, and dependency on other projects for completion. This approach removed the internal politics for getting project approval and the end result guaranteed necessary projects would be put at the top of the list for implementation. Acted as Project Manager for the redesign of the Federal Inspection Services (FIS) Facility passenger flow to ease congestion and confusion for those passengers with a final destination of Seattle. Worked extensively with airlines, federal immigration and customs officials, and consultants to ensure proposed solutions met the operational needs of the facility. The end result was a more positive experience for passengers and federal agencies working in the FIS facility. -
