I am looking forward to assuming the position of Interim CAO for the Town of Tillsonburg effective September 16th while they seek a new CAO.

"The Chief Administrative Office Oversees both the strategic and day-to-day operations of the City. Specifically, the CAO: Acts as the senior level advisor to Council and committees on areas of administration, policy and procedure. Ensures the directives and decisions of Council are effectively implemented and managed. Acts as the senior liaison with both provincial offices and departments as well as with other area municipalities. Leads the City’s annual budgeting process. Leads the City’s strategic planning process (e.g. setting goals and objectives and implementation strategies). Manages the City’s senior staff complement (e.g. Director level) and is ultimately responsible for the City’s entire human resource complement. Through managing senior staff, oversees the day-to-day operations of all City activities ensuring that services are offered in timely, cost efficient and safe manner."​

I was responsible for overall leadership of the Board and Association, the Association's strategic planning process, government relations with the federal government and liaison with international associations.

The Board worked at improving the foundation of the association including a balanced budget, a five year forecast and a new website.

As President, we moved forward with the Association's government relations program in order to work towards promoting municipal legislation that was administratively efficient.

I acted as both chief administrative officer and municipal clerk for the Town.

I completed administrative research and provided recommendations to the Executive Director of the Association.

I worked for the Association for three summers.
