With over 40 years of business experience in a variety of industries, from oil and gas exploration, commercial real estate, and telecommunications to name a few, I’ve found that regardless of the industry, it’s paramount to deliver superior service backed by best-class-products and partners.As I worked in different industries, I discovered that my expertise in strategic planning and entrepreneurship, as well as my tendency to gravitate to challenging and fast-paced environments made the telecom and technology industry an exciting fit. That’s why I invested in Xeta Technologies in 1984 and eventually served as Chairman of the Board when the organization was a publicly-traded company. In 2018 I founded Xeta Group, a Trusted Advisor that offers complete technology solutions, from Innovation and Planning to Design and Implementation across the entire Technology Stack. Through work in this field, I realized the value of viewing technology holistically and not just in singular pieces. By understanding the individual need of each client’s business challenges and opportunities, we can become partners with them in driving innovation that provides a competitive advantage, greater market share, increased revenues, and company growth.I’m interested in showcasing what I’ve learned about the industry as well as helping and connecting with clients, and there are several accomplishments and qualifications that I believe are worth acknowledging. I have served as an advisor to multiple distribution and manufacturing companies, and have been an investor, executive, and board member for greenfield start-ups, turnarounds, and growth opportunities in a variety of industries. A highlight of my career was being selected as the Distinguished Entrepreneur of the Year by The School of Entrepreneurship at Oklahoma State University.Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my expanding family and being involved in my church. I'm an avid golfer and cyclist, and I do strength training weekly. I am a voracious reader and am on a quest to keep myself current with new technologies, business practices, and opportunities.
