I have managed to launch and successfully run a farm for the last 10 years while creating new employment opportunities. I am comfortable speaking with diverse audiences and can relate to people from all socio-economic backgrounds. I have taught seminars, appeared on podcasts, and live videos. Teaching entrepreneurship within the NC Small Business Center allows me to share past experiences while exploring new ones.

I am the Founder and President of Master Blend Family Farms, LLC located in Kenansville, NC. Master Blend specializes in pasture raised pork and proudly distributes superior pork products across the Eastern United States to premium restaurants, high end eateries, and professional sports stadiums. Notably, we are the official pork providers to the State Farms Basketball Stadium located in Atlanta, Ga. I have served on the NC Cooperative Extension Advisory Committee for 6 years, and volunteer time with 4-H and Future Farmers of America (FFA). Some of my responsibilities consist of:- Overseeing the content presented on the company website, ensuring the website is functioning properly.- Collaborating with other web professionals such as web designers, developers, and marketing to determine the best way to represent information online.- Ensure that product pricing and inventory is accurately displayed. Manage product availability for present and future vendors. Upload content or provide material to designers or webmasters.- Create custom content through a Content Management System.- Respond to email inquiries along with live chat questions.
