Managed an inventory of over 7500 parts valued at over $700,000.00. Conducted and managed regular and cyclical inventory procedures per army standards. Purchased through a set quarterly budget of over $20,000.00 through the IMAP system. Used FEDLOG (military application) to verify prices, availability and recoverability of parts. Secured local purchases, utilizing separate budgeted checkbooks outsourced purchases, following strict rules and guidelines provided by army purchasing procedures.Worked with vendors to obtain the best possible prices on common-use items and creating ways to obtain difficult-to-obtain or obscure parts and supplies.Opened, updated, and closed work orders for shop personnel on company-assigned equipment through Fleet Focus.Tracked parts release and availability dates through LOGSA (military application).Maintained inventory cards to reflect purchase history to adjust re-order points and amounts.Filed and maintained historic records of inventories, quotes, purchase history, shipment discrepancies. Reduced inventory of ‘on hand’ stock from over $1,000,000.00 to $500,000.00 using army guidelines for allowable stock on hand. Instructed new employees of procedures including receiving, stocking and turn-in rules per army regulations. Provided daily work guidelines and priorities for other employees in section. Ordered military parts through SAMS-E and IMAP military systems from quarterly budget of approximately $75,000.00. Controlled hazardous material storage areas and receiving, storage, turn-in records working with state EPA officer. Maintained 5 different checkbooks for both IMAP and local procurement accounts. Worked other tasks similar to above mentioned job description.
