Direct and oversee the day to day and long–term facilities operations and planning activities for ESPN’s global facilities footprint of 1.1M+ sf owned and 1.2M+ rsf leased buildings located in 40 different locations in 8 countries. Direct staff at corporate headquarters and provide guidance and support for management staff at all other office locations. Staff members engage in a variety of tasks including; maintenance, grounds, repairs of the physical plant, distribution services, space planning and interior design, moves and furniture reconfigurations, facilities services call center, coordination of campus events, procurement of goods and services for facilities, food service operations, and department communications. Primary point of contact for all Real Estate leases and property acquisitions. • Lead space planning, restacking, budget development and forecasting as member of core team responsible for the planning and development of ESPN corporate headquarters expansion.• Development and oversight of Facilities, Security, Safety and Sustainability annual operating (70M+) and capital (18M+) plans. Consistently coming in at or below budget targets by continually finding opportunities to reduce costs through value engineering and strategic sourcing.• Collaborate with other department leaders on the completion of various construction and space planning projects to ensure on-time delivery and budgetary compliance. Recent projects include; 18,000 sf, Cafeteria expansion and renovation, and 54,000 sf, conversion of leased light manufacturing facility into office space. Both projects completed on time and below established budgets.• Act as ESPN owner/tenant representative working with Disney Corporate Real Estate team to insure business requirements are met for every location.• Development, implementation and administration of corporate space planning and design standards resulting in effective and efficient space plans that resulted in reduced real estate costs.
