Looking for an opportunity to excel and grow. I have worked in the fire service for the past 25 years and in law enforcement prior. I am constantly seizing opportunities to improve and continue my professional development. As an Instructor and leader, I have undergone rigorous training and demonstrated proficiency in developing and delivering effective training programs. My experience in leading new members of the fire service has equipped me with the skills needed to cultivate a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellence within the department. I am adept at creating engaging and interactive learning environments that foster the development of essential firefighting skills and knowledge.I continue to develop public relations programs with local schools and business as well as reside on public committees to help ensure building safety in all hazards. I have also had the opportunities to create and teach CPR, First Aid, Fire Safety, and other programs for civilian and commissioned personnel inside and outside the limits of the community I serve. I successfully designed and implemented training modules that encompassed fire behavior, emergency response procedures, and advanced firefighting techniques. I am well-versed in utilizing diverse instructional methodologies to accommodate different learning styles, ensuring that all team members receive the necessary knowledge and hands-on experience. Moreover, my ability to assess individual strengths and weaknesses allows me to tailor training programs that maximize the potential of each trainee.Throughout my career, I have demonstrated effective leadership in managing fire prevention initiatives aimed at minimizing fire risks within communities. My strategic approach to fire prevention includes implementing and overseeing programs that address fire code compliance, conduct safety inspections, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a proactive approach to risk reduction.In the realm of fire investigation, I have successfully led teams in the assessment of fire incidents, applying a meticulous and thorough approach to determine the cause and origin of fires.
