Cooking Shop - Major Appliances. Responsible for Retail, Home and Dealer stores, Direct/Catalogue sales. Number one in the market place with over 30% market share, growing market share by over 220 basis points in a bad economy. Responsible for over $ 250 million in sales, and working with over 2,000 sales associates in over 350 stores.

Buyer - Hardware, Garage Door openers, Mechanic's tools, chest cabinets, etc.

Marketing - Home Improvements, Bed & Bath, Major Appliance's

Hardware, Garage Shop. Responsible for Retail, Catalogue and Dealer stores. Products included garage door openers, chest cabinets, garage storage, mechanics tools, screwdrivers, etc. Went into a shop that had been running a decrease for over three years, and was able to turn it around to run a double-digit increase in one year. Worked closely with suppliers to rebuild the lines to gain a stronger presence in the industry.

In-store, Major Appliances. Responsible for overall look of the stores, both retail and dealer stores. Delivered a product road show and all training for sales associates and managers. Worked closely with Store Managers to achieve overall goals. Managed and promoted a full re-charge of the Sears Major Appliance Department. Created a business plan that spend millions of dollars on re-working our floors and re-training our sales force and management team. Went across the country working with regional Vice Presidents to promote this new plan. Was well received and drove our sales over the 1 billion dollar mark for the first time in the history of Sears.

Bed and Bath & Home Improvement. Worked with the buyers to create programs to achieve the business goals for their products. Was asked to manage the biggest Catalogue department with-in Sears, as their sales had started to decline. Was able to turn it around with-in 2 years to grow sales again, with a stronger profit contribution. Worked with buyers to build new and exciting pages to invigorate a subdued customer base. Worked with a new work force to create an exciting internet presence for Bed and Bath.

Came to head office in 1988, and was promoted every few years, gaining more responsibility and experience in marketing, assistant buying and inventory controls.
