Ron was born and raised in a small, friendly Canadian prairie town, with 30 and 40 degrees below zero being the norm in winter. Ron continued his education in Winnipeg, and was part of a group of athletes chosen to represent Manitoba in the Canadian Provincial Games, Graduating as President of his Institution, Ron went on to work and travel around America, Europe, Africa and India. After immigrating to Australia in his early 20's, Ron then began to hitch hike his way around the country, following the sun and the seasonal work. This took him on an amazing 9 year journey into the heart and soul of the Australian country side, leading to a deeper understanding of the "true blue" Ozzy spirit. Quick to lend a hand, Ron found the hospitality and friendships amazing, and decided to pursue his passion for meeting and helping people. Ron then opened his first business in Perth, the Rainbow Lodge, an International Backpackers for overseas visitors. Living and loving life with his two beautiful children, Ron could not be happier, a dream come true, here in sensational Western Australia.
