Television and Radio: I began my career as a broadcast journalist and news presenter at NTD 8 in Darwin at the age of 19 before moving on to 8DN radio in Darwin as an afternoon drive jock. Following my re-location to Sydney after cyclone Tracy, I concentrated on my journalistic skills rapidly moving through the grading system to the level of 'super A' grade. With the advent of university courses in broadcast journalism, that grading system fell out of use. My metropolitan radio experience includes high level news roles at 2SM (back when it was the leading radio station in the country), 2UE, ARN (MIX 106.5, The Edge and WS FM) and 2GB.My television experience: NTD8 Darwin, RVN2/AMV4 Wagga/Albury, WIN TV Wollongong NetworkTEN. I spent more than 30 years as a journalist, producer, interviewer, program host, commentator and news presenter at TEN. As a journalist, I have had strong experience in developing news stories and bringing them to air. My contacts are extensive and include most regular news makers.
