• Review and approve corporate credit applications (including Mid-Caps and listed companies) within designated credit authority. • Perform credit analysis and provide support to credit authority for higher level approvals.• Provide advice to business units in structuring complex transactions and preparing credit proposals.• Identify gaps for enhancements to strengthen approval process and provide better service delivery and turnaround time.• Conduct credit calls jointly with relationship managers to have more comprehensive understanding of clients’ financial needs and business risks.

• Handle credit requests for SME clients.• Work closely with Relationship Managers in structuring credit packages aligned with the bank's risk appetite and credit standards, with understanding of clients' strategic and financing needs.• Approve credit proposals / requests by exercising delegated credit authority.• Prioritise and handle the incoming credit proposals (including New applications, Annual Reviews and Interim Reviews) according to a set time-frame and ensure the pre-set proposals completion goals are met.

Credit assessment- Perform credit assessments for credit proposals/ requests from various commercial clients.- Ensure latest updates of credit policies and requirements from regulatory authorities are properly implemented in the credit approval process. Compliance- Scrutinise latest regulatory and Anti-Money Laundering requirements, update the affected sections on regulatory implications and facilitate the implementation of new policies in the daily workflow.- Revise department’s procedural manual from time to time, to cater for new policies and workflow.- Work closely with the Compliance Department on Regulatory Compliance Matters; and participate in assessment on the parameters of transaction monitoring for MIS reports.Reporting- Handle reports, questionnaires and Gap Analysis related to relevant policies for Anti-Money Laundering and FATCA.- Liaise with Credit Risk Management Department in Reference Pricing, Risk Weighted Ratio, and other Basel-related data reporting and monthly mortgage-related statistics reporting.Other duties- Lead a team with 3 members, perform supervision and mentoring support for fellow subordinates and trainees.- Participate in the inter-departmental Process Improvement Project for enhancing department’s operational efficiency.

• Assist in performing underwriting for Directors & Officers Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance. • Conduct financial analysis and media search, identify specialised risks associated with the corporate clients.• Present insurance policies to general insurance brokers and the clients’ representatives. • Liaise with other insurers or reinsurance companies for coinsurance/reinsurance programs based on the group’s policy.• Assist in organising seminars and introduce new insurance policies to prospective insurance brokers and clients.
