Growing up on a dairy farm in the heart of the Waikato, New Zealand I have set out to work within and be part of the development of our vibrant dairy industry.Along the way a variety of roles and activities in marketing and business operations have rounded out my skills and provided plenty of challenge.Currently responsible for International Business Development within Shoof International I am fortunate to spend time in Chile, China and Australia on a regular basis working on growing business and developing new networks and opportunities. I am also able to explore my passion for the new and innovative as part of the small but creative R&D team at Shoof.My wife and I have 5 children between us aged from 10-14. They keep us well grounded and very busy.I am currently looking to apply my experience to other companies via directorships in the Ag or distribution sectors. Blending e-commerce into the mix would call on all my current and past experience.I am a current member of the Institute of Directors.

The PV side was handed on after a short time, and I then concentrated on the Shoof farm business. I started visiting China and other Asian countries, sourcing and latterly selling, in 2008. In 2010 I picked up responsibility for the Australian Shoof sales and customer service team, through a local Sales Manager. At the end of 2010 I also started working on the Shoof business in Chile. I established two companies in Chile wholly owned by Shoof new Zealand. To achieve this I had to become a resident of Chile. I was responsible directly for these businesses until early 2017. They are now managed under our Group Sales Manager.In 2011 Shoof employed a Sales Manager for NZ, who reported to me until late 2012. In December 2013 Shoof employed a Group Sales Manager for the Shoof farm business in NZ and Aus. Currently I am responsible for international suppliers, product development, manufacture and sourcing. I also take a company wide view, looking for opportunities to grow Shoof, or improve returns. I have been on the Shoof exec since it was formed in about 2007. -

Running two shifts per day systems and processes had to be very robust to ensure consistency in service and protect margins.
