Leading Petty Officer from 1989 to 1998 supervising 5 Biomedical Photography Technicians and four other personnel. Lab produced over 1.1 million photographic images a year. Coordinated repair, maintenance and inventory for over $400,000 in photographic equipment and the flawless management of the $150,000 annual supply budget. Responsible for Medical-Legal cases-preparing files for possible courtroom presentation. Developed an excellent rapport with military and civilian law enforcement officials.Coordinated several precious metal recovery improvements to the photo lab spaces where final results were reflected in a Environmental Protection Agency Inspection with zero discrepancies noted. Several of my photos were published in multiple publications and used by the Medical Staff for national presentations. I presented at two national Medical Examiner/Death Investigation conferences on the topic of Earthquake with my photo documentation of the 1989 San Francisco Bay area disaster.

Worked 1/1 with patients hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit and Coronary Care Unit at the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Maryland. Position of Critical Care Coordinator responsible for schedule of 50+ Hospital Corpsmen schedules. Critical patients were required to have someone at their bedside 24/7. Completed all treatments, IV's, equipment and dressing changes. With my certification I moved on in my Navy career to the U.S.S. Dwight D. Eisenhower where I ran the 67 bed medical ward including a 4 -bed ICU and 2 Isolation rooms.Here I was responsible for all medications, nutrition and post surgical care.
