Leading Commercial function (team of 10 members) for two Key Manufacturing Units of Marico engaged in Production of Hair Care products in Guwahati region. The KRA in this role includes:- Management & optimisation of Fiscal benefits viz. IT exemption, GST refund, freight subsidy etc conferred as part of Investment Promotion Policy. This included driving Bank disbursement of the various benefits through coordination with authorities as well as optimising the benefits through business changes-Reviewing brand profitability for evaluating any changes in Manufacturing Landscape for benefit optimisation – Undertook holistic TDC analysis @ Hair Oils category level which led to multiple Manufacturing decisions contributing significantly to the bottom line-Responsibility for Budgeting exercise for the Plant for Manufacturing Variable Costs (MVC), FOH/DFOH, R&M costs & Capex for two Plants-Close coordination with Supply Chain, Production, Quality & HR as Finance FPR for driving Commercial Agendas with the plant. -End to end responsibility for design and implementation of Commercial Controls within the Plants aligning with Commercial policies, IFC framework, DOA etc. while also ensuring agility by identifying inefficiencies in existing processes and suggesting simplification (through automation, redefining compliance etc.)-Evaluation of Capex proposals including feasibility analysis in terms of ROI, Economics and Business needs.-Monthly closing including complete stock taking & reconciliation, provisioning, losses analysis and trend, BOM review etc. -Review of inventory and FSNE on regular basis in coordination with the SC team for decisions such as Cross utilisation, liquidation, etc.-Vendor Negotiations and Procurement of Packing Materials, Stores and other Capex items. -Driving Value Enhancement & Cost Optimization Projects at factory-Handling routine audits (Internal/External/Statutory) for the plants-Ensuring GST compliance within the plant
