I am a vascular surgeon in the Chicagoland area. I completed my training in the Integrated Vascular Surgery residency program at Stony Brook University Hospital on Long Island, NY. I graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University with a Doctor of Medicine degree and from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering.As a result of my comprehensive vascular surgery training, I have become proficient in the management of both vascular surgical and medical patient care. This includes but is not limited to advanced peripheral arterial endovascular interventions, open and endovascular carotid therapies including TCAR, and treatment of both abdominal and thoracic aortic pathologies. My clinical research endeavors highlight my broad range of interests in vascular surgery and I plan to continue performing clinical outcomes-based research as I further develop my clinical practice.I have had the opportunity to care for and connect with patients of various ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds and take pride in my ability to quickly gain patients’ trust via compassion and clear communication. I am also very passionate about medical education and have taken an active involvement in resident and medical student education in the operating room, in formal didactics, and informal teaching rounds.Prior to my career as a physician, I was a Technical Services Engineer for Epic, an electronic medical records software company. In my spare time I enjoy playing tennis, traveling the world, and photography.
