With over 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, my journey began in 2018 after earning a bachelor's degree in Information Technology. I then specialised by obtaining a master's degree in Digital Forensics and Information Security. My professional career started as a Malware Researcher Intern at Mindtree Ltd., where I contributed to Microsoft Defender.After my internship, I joined the Security Operations Center (SOC) team at PowerSchool Ltd., where I focused on monitoring and defending on-premise environments against internal and external threats. In April 2022, I transitioned to CISCO, where I am currently enhancing cloud security.At CISCO, I specialise in cloud security, working extensively with AWS, Azure, and GCP. My responsibilities include utilising SPLUNK, a leading SIEM tool, for comprehensive monitoring and analysis. Additionally, I actively develop new use cases and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance and secure the cloud environment. My role involves incident handling, root cause analysis, and forensics to identify and mitigate threats, as well as proactively improving security measures to protect critical infrastructure.
